A Zettelkasten should not be an encyclopedia (or Wikipedia). The purpose the Zettelkasten is not to replicate knowledge that is readily available on the internet or otherwise. Ideally, a Zettelkasten will contain many original thoughts, along with facts or other pieces of information.

A trap Zettelkasten users (including myself) fall into is trying to title their notes similarly to Wikipedia, with broad ambiguous titles. These are neither atomic nor representative of what is stored inside the note.
